Wanted: Help and Support

By Jane Robinson

Dear friends in children’s ministry,

Read on to see how you’re needed! I recently ran across a poem someone wrote using the first lines from emails received during this time of COVID-19. “In these unprecedented times,” “during this turmoil,” and “while you’re feeling uncertain” were some of the phrases included. It doesn’t matter how we word it, we’re all experiencing something we haven’t experienced before. While each of us is affected in a slightly different way, all of us are living changed lives.

For you, that means pivoting in how you do children’s ministry. Many leaders are presenting webinars and sending emails with ideas for doing things differently. Internet resources abound. In fact, it can be a little overwhelming.

Our CTA community is made up of churches of all sizes and denominations across the country. We’d love for you to “put your heads together,” so to speak, and share with CTA Friends across America what’s working for you and what your plans are for the summer and fall.

Would you be willing to write as a volunteer and send us an article or even a few ideas? We’ll take care of the editing and send your ideas out in future newsletters.

If you’d rather send your top five ideas to be compiled, please email them to editor@ctainc.com.

Please know that we at CTA are praying for you and the children in your care!
